Introduction: A Unified Call For Climate Resilience

The 29th United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP29) hosted in Baku, Azerbaijan uniting visionary leaders, cutting-edge innovators, and changemakers from across the globe to chart bold strategies for combating the climate emergency. Representing the Dholakia Foundation, Ms. Charu Mishra, Chief Operations Officer and Ms. Bhakti Raut, Program Manager – Sustainability proudly participated in the conference, propagating the objectives of the transformative initiatives like Mission River and Mission 102030, aligning the efforts with global climate preservation frameworks.

 

Overview Of Cop29

 

COP29 hosted over 150 participating countries, each contributing to the global dialogue on climate action through pavilions in the Blue Zone and Green Zone:

  • Blue Zone: The official space where delegations, global leaders, and policymakers convened for negotiations and discussions under the United Nations framework.
  • Green Zone: A vibrant area dedicated to the public, NGOs, and other stakeholders showcasing innovative solutions and engaging in knowledge-sharing activities.

These zones exhibited collaboration and highlighted diverse strategies for addressing climate change challenges and heading toward securing a climate-resilient future.
