Empowering the Changemakers of Tomorrow – National Youth Day 2025 Celebration at Dholakia Foundation

Every year, we celebrate National Youth Day to honor the life and teachings of Swami Vivekananda, a visionary who believed in the power of youth to shape a better world. His words, “Arise, awake, and stop not till the goal is reached,” continue to inspire generations to take action for a brighter future.

This year, Dholakia Foundation marked the occasion by inviting school students for a day filled with learning, fun, and inspiration. The event aimed to help young minds understand the importance of sustainability, climate care, and personal responsibility toward the planet.

A Day Full of Learning and Inspiration

The event began with a warm welcome to the students, setting the tone for an exciting day ahead. Our team showcased the foundation’s impactful work on water conservation, river rejuvenation, and community projects. The students were curious and engaged, asking thoughtful questions about how these projects have transformed lives.

Fun Activities with Meaningful Lessons

We believe learning should be interactive and memorable. To make sustainability lessons fun, we organized several engaging activities:

Guess the Bin Game: Students learned about proper waste segregation by guessing which waste belongs in which bin. This simple yet effective activity showed how small habits can make a big difference.

Dumb Charades: To reinforce daily eco-friendly habits, students acted out activities like conserving water, reducing plastic use, and planting trees. Laughter filled the room, but the message was clear – every action counts.

Q&A Session: The event concluded with a heartfelt question-and-answer session where students shared their thoughts and curiosity about climate change, water conservation, and sustainable living.

Voices from the Event

The excitement and energy of the students were truly heartwarming. Here’s what some of them had to say:

“I learned how waste segregation works, and now I will follow it at home.”

“The activities were so fun, and I didn’t know learning about the environment could be this interesting.”

The faculties also appreciated the event:

“It’s rare to see children so engaged while learning about climate issues. Dholakia Foundation made the message clear and inspiring.”

Why We Celebrate Youth Day

Swami Vivekananda believed that youth are the key to building a better world. At Dholakia Foundation, we share that belief. Youth hold the power to bring change, inspire communities, and protect the planet. By guiding them early, we can create responsible citizens who care for the earth.

This event was not just a celebration but a reminder that empowering young minds can shape a better tomorrow.
